However, I did notice some areas in need of attention, like the lobby construction causing odd entry points and minor issues with room maintenance in specific instances.

My stay at the Courtyard Austin Downtown/Convention Center had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, being just a stone's throw away from the Convention Center and bustling nightlife. However, I found the overnight parking fee exorbitant, and it put a bit of a damper on my experience. Additionally, I encountered issues with room cleanliness that were quite disappointing.

My stay at Courtyard Austin Downtown/Convention Center was generally pleasant, thanks to the friendly staff and comfy rooms. The cleanliness was a highlight, but there were some quirks like limited outlets in the room and the odd placement of the light switch near the bed. Overall, it’s a solid option for a downtown visit, especially with its great location near nightlife.

However, I faced issues with the cleanliness of my room, which was disappointing. The service was generally good, but I encountered some communication gaps regarding housekeeping. 😕

Rooms

The room was spacious but had a musky smell when I opened the door. Despite having opted out of cleaning for two days, I expected more attention to detail during my stay. There were some cleanliness issues, such as dirty towels and a general lack of upkeep which affected my comfort.
Service

The staff was friendly and courteous, but their response regarding housekeeping left me wanting more. I did appreciate their efforts during check-out to address the billing issues I encountered.
